Publishing Malpractice and Procedures:

Publishing malpractice includes various forms of unethical behavior, such as plagiarism, falsification of data, misrepresentation of data, submission of multiple manuscripts for publication in more than one journal at the same time, failure to disclose conflicts of interest, and copyright infringement.

If malpractice is suspected, the editorial board follows the following procedures:

1. Investigation: The editorial board conducts a preliminary investigation into allegations of malpractice. This may include contacting authors, referees, or relevant institutions.

2. Evidence Submission: The relevant parties are asked to provide evidence and respond to the allegations.

3. Decision-Making: Based on the results of the investigation and the evidence presented, the editorial board makes an appropriate decision. Actions taken may include:

  • Rejecting the manuscript: If malpractice is found prior to publication.

  • Retracting the article: If malpractice is found post-publication, the article is retracted and a notice of retraction is published explaining the reason.

  • Institution Notification: The academic institution or employer of the author(s) involved in the malpractice may be notified.

  • Ban on Future Publication: The author(s) involved in the malpractice may be prohibited from submitting further research for publication in the journal for a specified period of time.

The journal is committed to implementing this policy to ensure the highest standards of publishing ethics and maintain the credibility of published research.
