Publishing steps
1. Research Preparation:
· The researcher must prepare their research in accordance with the publication instructions and rules of the Ijtihad Journal of Scientific Research.
· The research must be original, innovative, and not previously published or submitted for publication elsewhere.
· The research must adhere to sound scientific methodology and accurately document sources in accordance with the journal's approved documentation system.
· The research must be written in correct Arabic, free of linguistic, spelling, and grammatical errors.
2. Research Submission:
· The researcher must send an electronic copy of the research as an attachment via the journal's email.
· The email must include a clear subject line indicating "Submitting Research for Publication" and the research title.
· The researcher must preferably attach a cover letter with the research, explaining the importance and originality of the research and confirming that it has not been submitted for publication elsewhere. The cover letter must also include the researcher's information (name, institutional affiliation, email address, and phone number, if available).

First: Requirements for Submitted Research
• Research must include a new or innovative scientific contribution in the field of sports science or related sciences, provided that:
• The research has not been previously published.
• The research has not been evaluated or published in another journal.
• Research papers must be written in Arabic or English and accompanied by an abstract of no more than 300 words.
• Research papers written in English must be accompanied by an Arabic abstract, which should include the research title, a portion of the introduction, the research objective, its main components, the method of selecting the sample, some measurements and research tools, and the most important results and recommendations.
• The research paper should not exceed 25 pages, with 20-24 lines per page. The font size for headings should be 14, and for the rest of the text, 12-point Times New Roman.
• Leave a 4 cm margin at the top of the page, 3 cm at the bottom, and 2.5 cm on both sides.
• The research paper should include the following sections: Introduction, Research Problem, Objectives, Hypotheses, Literacy Review, Research Methodology, Research Results, Conclusions, Research Recommendations, and References.
Submission Steps:
• Create an account on the journal's website.
• Prepare the manuscript according to these guidelines.
• Upload the required files using the provided templates.
• Complete the submission form.
• Submit the manuscript for review. Research papers will be reviewed by a committee of specialized professors in their respective fields.
• The researcher is obligated to make any revisions requested by the review committee. • The researcher has the right to appeal to the journal's editorial board if they are not satisfied with any of the proposed revisions.
• Unrevised research will be excluded from the journal issue. If necessary, it will be submitted to the journal's advisory committee. If the committee rejects it, it will be excluded from publication. If the revisions are not accepted, the researcher must make the required changes, and the revised research will then be included in the current issue.
• If a research paper is accepted for publication with revisions, the researcher must complete the revisions within ten (10) days.
Second: Journal Rights:
• The editorial board has the right to conduct an initial review of the research paper and determine its eligibility for peer review.
• The managing editor may inform the researcher that their research is unacceptable for publication based on the reviewers' opinion, upon request, without disclosing the reviewers' names.
• A research paper will be considered withdrawn if the researcher fails to make the required revisions within two weeks of receiving a response from the managing editor, unless there is a compelling reason deemed acceptable by the editorial board.
• The editorial board has the right to publish the research paper in print or electronically. • If the editorial board determines that a researcher has republished their work, the board has the right to bar them from future publication and will notify their employer.
• Research published in the journal reflects only the opinion of its author, who bears full responsibility if the research has been published elsewhere.
Receipts:
• An official letter from the journal confirming publication of the research, including the name(s) of the researcher(s), the title of the research, the issue number, and the publication date.
• The order of research papers in the journal is not determined by their importance or merit, but rather by the order in which they were completed through peer review and editing.
